Its XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. A sturdy 18-gauge powder-coated heat shield blocks performance-robbing engine heat. This heat shield requires no assembly and uses factory mounting locations for fast and easy installation. All clamps and hose are provided to guarantee correct crankcase flow, avoiding check engine lights and damaging factory hoses and sensors.
